I read about fleet saving on Wiki and was just wanting to double check myself (newbie )...when u go off-line just send fleet on a mission or expedition to protect them? Also, I went on my first expidition and lost my entire fleet...any ideas of what I did wrong?...TY

Re: Fleet Saving
you dont have to go on an expedition to fleetsave the better way is to load up your res and pick a planet close to you that has an (i) next to it , make sure it has no defence on it , set your fleet to attack then slow it down so it takes how many hours your going to be gone for your ships to do a round trip , make sure you send an extra cargo with it so you can score some extra res while your at it . i like to give myself an extra 15 to 20 min. in case i get stuck in traffic or something but its pretty easy .

Re: Fleet Saving
also, you asked if there was anything you did wrong on your expedition; Well, expedition is really a big gamble. Sometimes you find awesome ships, tons of resources of you jsut get lost in space and take a while to return but you can also run into pirates or other large and deadly ships. I just lost three cruisers and two small cargos to a group of battle cruisers I found out in space, so it's really a gamble.

Re: Fleet Saving
a good way to fleet save in my opinion is to harvest a debrisfield with your entire fleet. it's very easy. just send a probe attacking a weak planet, so that it gets destroyed. the debris is now so small you can't see it in the galaxy view. but if you send your recys it's possible to send it to the debrisfield! so nobody can see when the debris got harvested! it's very safe, but with a phalanx near to your planet you have to be very carefull!

Re: Fleet Saving
I'll input my 2c.
Don't use Expedition ever to fleetsave
try to find someone at a distance that is attackable and use that farm as a FS target.. slow down the move % and load it up with your supplies.
If you leave your ships at home long enough a rogue player WILL fleet crash you just to be a butthead...

Re: Fleet Saving
Japter, I hope no big dogs decide to RCS you...I have heard several that thought they were untouchable, complain when fleets r destroyed...its happening as I speak in Draco to the simple alliance....
